Abstract :
Presented are the results of elaboration of solid-state amplifiers with output power 300 mW at 1 dB gain compression designed to be used in power vacuum/solid-state amplifiers. There are also construction schemes and experimental characteristics. The use of a solid-state amplifier as a preliminary amplifier for ultrawideband vacuum modules allows reduction of the noise factor of the transmitter and its dimensions. Two types of 6-18 GHz power amplifiers with gains of 20-25 dB and 30-35 dB respectively have been designed for the application as a component of the vacuum/solid-state module. The amplifiers are manufactured in accordance with a hybrid-integral technology.
