Abstract
A novel monolithic integrated wavelength and space switchable laser is presented. It consists of two V-coupled cavities with optimized coupling coefficient and phase for high single-mode selectivity. The waveguide branch structures inside and outside the cavities allow the wavelength and space switching functionalities to be realized simultaneously.
