The importance of the update process to increase the level of know how is gaining more importance for small and medium sized enterprises (SME). In this paper the authors concentrate on activating technology transfer with strongly tailored training programs. The programs include elements of project management, marketing, technology and consulting. The programs are focused on active projects of local industry. Programs and their background are introduced.
