Abstract :
A wideband demodulator circuit for analog wideband FM (FM-UWB) having an FCC-compliant RF spectrum with steep roll-off and capable of accommodating multi-users using FSK modulated sub-carriers, is presented. The delay line demodulator has 1.8GHz bandwidth around 4GHz, and consumes 9.6 mW from a 2.4 supply. The 0.72mm2 demodulator IC is implemented in 0.18 mum Si-Ge BiCMOS technology
