Abstract :
In this paper we present experiments on chip-based non coaxial sheath flows. The uniformity of the sample flow profile along a fluidic channel and the width-limitation of hydrodynamic focusing of the sample flow are demonstrated. Additionally, the influence of varying the flow rate of the horizontal control ports on the sample flow profile is highlighted.
