Abstract :
There is a lot of plasma albumin in the lampetra japonica´s buccal gland secretion. This protein has a unique and original position in the evolution of the albuminoid gene family[l]. This research does an analysis on the evolutional relationship between the plasma albumin of lampetra japonica and the other members of the albuminoid gene family by bioinformatics methods and made the evolution diagram of the albuminoid gene family members latter. The appearance of the original plasma albumin was deduced before 500 million years to 570 million years ago, which is earlier than the differentiation of jawless and jawed vertebrates. And the differentiation of lampetra japonica and other vertebrates is earlier than the other albuminoid gene family members appearance. Based on the comparison between structural domains of plasma albumin of lampetra japonica, vitamin D-binding protein of zebrafish and plasma albumin of salmo salar, we can deduce that the original plasma albumin only has one structural domain, which is similar to the seventh structural domain of the plasma albumin of lampetra japonica. After a series of duplication and loss of the gene fragments, the original plasma albumin evolves to be the albuminoid gene family. This research provides theoretical foundation for seeking the peculiar biological function structural domains of the plasma albumin of lampetra japonica through experiments.
