Abstract :
The total characteristic of the National Communication and Broadcasting Satellite System (NCBSS) is shown and the task list for the NCBSS design is given. Some technical solutions, from different communication and broadcasting system architectures to particular technologies (SiGe, SO, SIP etc.) are discussed. Attention is drawn to the necessity to solve domestic producer problems and some economic and organization issues.
