Abstract :
In this paper, an approach for resource constrained flexible manufacturing system (FMS) scheduling was proposed, which integrated particle swarm optimization (PSO) and simulated annealing (SA) algorithm. First, the formulation for resource constrained FMS scheduling problem was introduced and cost function for this problem was obtained. Then, a hybrid algorithm of PSO and SA was employed to solve optimal solution. The simulated results show that the approach can dislodge a state from a local minimum and guide it to the global minimum.
