Abstract
The authors show possible variations of number changes of the Pacific salmon population. There are cyclic or regular fluctuations or chaotic dynamics. Far East salmon are classical example of nonuniform populations. A discrete mathematical model is suggested for the analysis of such population number dynamics. The basic model was investigated by analytic and numerical methods. This work discusses results of numerical investigations of number fluctuations of four real Kamchatka populations
