Abstract
This work was devoted to construction and research of a model describing population dynamics due to hunting. The generalized mathematical model with discrete time that takes into account periodicity of duplication and dependence of craft intensity on the population number was developed. The special cases of the dependence of hunting efforts on population number were considered. The analysis of these models has shown that the dynamic behaviour depends on craft strategy. Intensive craft varying with number changes lead to regular and chaotic fluctuations of the population number or degeneration
