Abstract :
This presentation aims to discuss the basic current trends and problems in I&C to support safe operation of nuclear power stations. They can be summarised as: the flexibility of computers still has immense potential; display methods are still developing fast; and the demonstration of software integrity is difficult. The presentation discusses how to exploit the advantages and how to overcome the problems
