Abstract :
A X-band frequency synthesizer is presented in this paper. We use the mixing phase-lock loop to achieve the synthesizer. One phase-lock loop (PLL) outputs the signal with frequency of 9GHz as the LO source of the mixer and the mixing PLL´s output range is 9.6GHz to 9.9GHz. And the static phase-noise of the output at 1kHz ~30kHz off the carrier is -106dBc/Hz@(1kHz~30kHz). This design adopts the composition of phase-lock loop frequency synthesizer and mixer, and the integral chamber design to accomplish a X-band frequency synthesizer with high spurious reduction and low phase-noise, which also realized product miniaturization while satisfying technique beacon.
