  • Abstract
    A bandpass filter is proposed, which is realized by cascading two novel composite right/left-handed transmission lines cells under balanced condition. The dispersion relation and equivalent circuit model of the novel composite right/left-handed transmission lines cell is presented. The simulated results show that the proposed bandpass filter has a high performance with low insertion loss in pass band, high out-band suppression, and a very sharp transition band. The proposed filter can be easily realized using printed circuit technology.
