Abstract :
The analysis results are presented of the aperture field distribution in a reflector antenna with the phase center of the irradiator arbitrarily positioned. Calculation and analysis of the antenna far-field radiation pattern and directive gain for an antenna with a multibeam (scanning) mode of radiation are performed. The possibility of scan sector broadening by optimal choice of the irradiator position is shown.
