  • Abstract
Insects integrate two characters during their flight, the highest mobility and the highest aerodynamic efficiency . Those characters are just the barriers that a man made micro-aero-vehicle (MAV) will encounter when their dimension getting smaller and smaller, thus giving rise to a lot of researches in insect flight. Here we introduce the current research situations both domestic and abroad, and the main problems to develop an insect inspired MAV as well.
