Abstract :
One of readily available applications for implementation of MSW-based devices is the creation of tunable band-pass and band-stop filters. MSW-based filters have a number of advantages compared to tuned filters based on YIG spheres. These advantages allow the design and production to begin for a number of BPF and BSF with electronic tuning operating in the centimeter frequency range. We have designed BPF and BSF with coaxial input and output as well as microstrip models. We have also created BPF and BSF with mechanical tuning only provided for the band centred within ±300 MHz relative to fc, which allowed considerable decrease of filter dimensions.
