Abstract :
In this paper, a novel method based on Hartley precoding is proposed to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in optical direct detection OFDM system. The PAPR of optical OFDM system based on Hartley precoding is researched by computer simulation. The experiment results show that the proposed scheme can reduce PAPR almost 1.5dB. Simulation states that the proposed scheme is very effect.
