Abstract :
Diagnosing dam disease is a process of discovering knowledge on the pattern between of disease and pathogeny. The information on dam safety needs to be handled and analyzed comprehensively. Based on reduct theory and information system of rough sets theory, this paper presented the mechanism and algorithm for mining the pattern between of dam disease and pathogeny. The genesis on cracks of a concrete arch dam is found by using this method.
