Abstract :
LF processes can play a significant role in powerful microwave generators with plasma filling based on high current REB (relativistic electron beam). The paper studies the instability of an LF wave in ion flow during acceleration by a space charge wave in a collective ion accelerator based on high current REB, modulated in time and in space.
