Abstract :
One of the most fundamental and more widely used concepts in electromagnetics theory is the singularity behavior of the current near sharp edges for a TM incident field. One can find an application of this concept in many problems, some of which (i.e. method of moments (MoM)) may require a prescribed imposition of such a condition to solve for the current on the structure. The commonly practised edge condition is depicted where the edge current behavior is represented in terms of (kr)/sup v/ where v=/spl pi///spl alpha/-1, kr/spl Lt/1, r is the distance from the edge and /spl alpha/ is the wedge angle. It should be noted that for the above representation, a singular current behavior is dictated for the case where /spl pi/\n\n\t\t
