  • Abstract
This paper proposed an adaptive matched filter model to ECG signal detection. In this paper the performance and reliability of that method is confirmed that for the wavelet denoised ECG signal, which was concealed by the noise, becomes apparent. It provides strong evidence that the denoising process removes actual noise components and can therefore be utilized for the improvement of the signal quality. Experimental results have shown that the implementation of this wavelet-based matched filter in ECG signal analysis results in an efficient reduction of the high noisy environment, producing an almost noise-free output signal. Due to its simplicity and its fast implementation the method can easily be used in clinical medicine.
