Abstract :
In this research, a needle-plate electrode system is adopted and the initial voltage of partial discharge, breakdown under electrical and thermal aging process, and the pattern of partial discharge during electrical aging are tested. The mechanism of the material breakdown and discharge is studied combining the analysis of microphotographs of the material
