Abstract :
The beamforming network for eight-element antenna array synthesised on the basis of Butler matrix is offered in this paper. The new network contains smaller quantity of crossings in comparison with Butler´s matrix. The comparative analysis of the basic characteristics of a Butler matrix and the offered network in a frequency band 9-11 GHz has been carried out by means of numerical modeling.
