Abstract :
In this paper, image quality assessment based on HVS (Human Visual System) is analyzed, and a new image quality assessment model based on HVS is proposed, which is called HVS-based Structural Quality-index (HSQ). Because the quality assessment model based on HVS is much closer to the subjective quality of the image, the HSQ performs better to fit the human eyes.
