Abstract :
The authors synthesized new fluorescent dyes with benzoxazole group and evaluated the electroluminescent (EL) properties of organic light-emitting-diodes (OLED) with new dyes as emitting material. Our typical OLED showed a luminance of over 300 cd/m2 at 10 V. However, the EL efficiencies of these OLEDs were not necessarily high. As these benzoxazole dyes have a triphenylamine group, holes easily flew out to cathode without hole-electron recombination. Then we synthesized a new benzoxazole dimer derivative without triphenylamine group
