  • Abstract
    Gas-liquid system was used to synthesize aragonite whiskers. The effect of temperature, pH value and accelerating agents were studied. Scanning electronic microscope (SEM) was used to observe the shape and size of whiskers. The contents of aragonite in the samples are determined by using X-ray diffraction. According to experiments, the best reacting conditions are found and aragonite whiskers with fine shape are synthesized
