Abstract :
The operator method is used for the analysis of a system of annular slots in the hollow inner conductor of a coaxial waveguide. The possibility of waveguides filling with dielectric discs is taken into consideration. The operator equations for bounded and semiinfinite periodic sequence of slots are presented. Dependencies of the elements of scattering matrix of the TEM- and TE11- modes as functions of wavenumber are analyzed. The possibility of application of such structures as wide-band and narrow-band filters is demonstrated.
