Abstract :
In this paper, Anaerobic Baffled Reactor (ABR) was applied to treat the synthetic wastewater in the matrix of starch and glucose. The process features and operation stability of anaerobic baffled reactor (ABR) were discussed. As well as the author investigated the implementation of ABR multi-phase separation. The experiment indicated that, under the conditions of 33~40degC room temperature and 0.59~11.05 kg COD/m3.d volume load, each compartment of ABR could successfully develop the microbial population that adapts to compartment environment. The effective separation was obtained with CODcr removal rate of above 90%, the reactor was stable in operation.
