  • Abstract
Acoustic safety measurements are important in human factors design of the system workspace indoor environment for operators/maintenance personnel who will use the system. Since many users as operator/maintainers are interacting with the hardware system for long time of hours, noise levels of the hardware systems should be determined in order to take measures from the beginning of the design phase of the hardware system and its workspace indoor environment. Experiences have shown that as the period of the personnel work increases in a high level noise workspace indoor environment, their level of hearing senses are getting lost with damaging rates. For this reason for system designers it is important to measure the level of sound noise for designing the protections of the workspace design before the installation of the hardware systems. This kind of process is experienced in the human factors system design of the ground support system hardware development item workspace environments designs for Peace Eagle program of HAVELSAN A.Ş.
