Abstract
The measurement of shielding effectiveness of coaxial cables is often limited by the dynamic range of the measurement system. This paper discusses the methods used to establish a dynamic range of 150 dB at 1 GHz, and 120 dB at 18 GHz, using a small reverberation chamber to measure the shielding effectiveness of coaxial cables. The chamber used had dimensions of 1.8×1.2×0.8 m
