Abstract
With rapid modernization of big cities, increasingly more problems have been found in urban flood control management and decision-making. Thus it is necessary to introduce SDSS theory and technology in order to optimize decision-making process. Based on characteristics of Shanghai coast storm tide control, and integrated with hydrology, geomorphology, Geographic Information System, model database, knowledge database and fuzzy math, a flood control SDSS was designed for the purpose of real-time simulation, risk analysis, forecasting and assisted dispatch. By the man-machine interaction technique, the system supplied convenient approach for the making of flood risk map and realized the assistant for flood control department to make scientific and reasonable decision.
