Abstract :
The data stream of IEEE 802.15.4 with 2.4GHz is expected to collide with those of Local Area Network(LAN) with 2.4GHz and others. So, we proposed a multimode baseband system of IEEE 802.15.4. In our proposed system 2.4GHz and 868/915MHz can be selected by user. In this paper, we propose a multi baseband hardware which can choose band of 868MHz, 915MHz, and 2.4GHz on one chip. The baseband is selected by enable signal. It is useful for users who want to use multimode baseband and who don´t want to buy each device to use different baseband. Using the proposed hardware, users have an option to choose multimode baseband for their convenient. The proposed multimode baseband system structure was implemented to a FPGA(Xilinx Virtex 4) and designed with Verilog HDL.
