Abstract
Available uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) are reviewed and some of the design criterion in their development is discussed. A 300 V DC output UPS is covered in detail. Its application to large systems such as mainframes is considered, and it is recommended that if connection problems can be overcome then UPS should be considered for PC power supply
