Abstract :
In this paper, several conventional detection algorithms including MLD (maximum likelihood detector), ZF (zero forcing) and ZF-SIC (zero forcing serial interference cancellation) for DS/CDMA system with MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) antenna processing in the downlink are investigated. Theses algorithms are hard to be utilized in practice for their high computation complexity or relatively poor performance. Based on this, a new ZF-SIC algorithm is proposed. Analysis and simulation results show that the new algorithm performs almost as good as the conventional ZF-SIC algorithm does, while it has much lower computation complexity.
