Abstract :
Generation of all the spanning trees of a graph has been a challenge for analysis of the network. Research scholars had proposed several methods. The generalized and most simple method of them was based on Incidence matrix. A new approach has been proposed in this paper, which makes use of fundamental cut set matrix of the network. Two new matrices are also defined based on incidence and cut-set matrix to establish correlation between the fundamental matrices. The new defined matrices retain path gain information in addition to network topology thus, may be used to keep any information regarding weightage of the path if there is a connection between two buses. The method proposed can be used for power system applications especially in pricing. Some optimization techniques are also proposed to reduce computation time and number of calculations.
