Abstract :
We have studied the BER performance of a hybrid direct sequence frequency hopping (DS/FH) system with interference suppressor in an environment where a strong narrowband interference perturbs the desired DS signal. In this approach a transform domain, real time suppression method PIE (phase interference extractor) has been chosen. The original PIE utilized FFT as the transformation. In this study we compared the performance and computational complexity of the original FFT PIE to DCT PIE and ELT PIE
