Abstract :
The Sleep and the hibernation are provided as power saving mode on computers. This paper discusses the advantage of the hibernation, proposes a method to accelerate the resume transition by more than a few times, and shows the test results on Windows system. This method is implemented in “ThinkPad” that is a brand of laptop computers developed by Lenovo.
