Abstract
The optimal designs are investigated for a wireless resonant energy link (WREL) based on a nonradiative magnetic field. Differing from conventional analyses, converters of voltage and impedance are assumed to be included on the transmitter and receiver side of the system, respectively. As a result, the optimal designs are obtained for the maximum transmission efficiency with the specified supply voltage and receiver impedance. In addition, it is found that a parallel capacitance is necessary to the load resistance that adjusts the system performance to the maximum.
