  • Abstract
    The features of an interactive computer graphics facility to be used by academic advisors for student performance evaluation and follow-up is developed. Incorporating good visual effects, the software has been designed to provide a flexible, user friendly interface. The tool provides a screen on which the courses that each student has to take in order to satisfy his/her degree requirement and corresponding grades on term bases are displayed. The tool has also a “scenario” program which creates a virtual environment on which hypothetical grades to the various courses that the student has to take and/or repeat can be assigned and the corresponding cumulative grade point average obtained easily and quickly. Furthermore, the facility can be used for adding and/or dropping courses for registration purposes and hard-copy of screens can be obtained on use demand. The facility leads to efficient use of the student advisors time with many attendant advantages
