Abstract :
The planning, design and operation of HVDC transmission systems requires the detailed study of various options and prediction of the system performance. HVDC transmission systems described by nonlinear models are not tractable for analytical approaches. Here, the tableau approach is the method that is used for the analysis of HVDC transmission systems. A computer program developed for this purpose, as well as the results from it, are presented by the authors
