  • Abstract
With the improvement of mining efficiency, workers´ health is threatened by the dust hazard of the work place greatly. Against that the traditional wet cleaner can´t control dust diffusion effectively, a new pneumatic jet stream air curtain dust-collecting fan is developed, which uses jet stream air curtain to collect and hood dust, uses wet vibration fiber grille to remove dust, and uses pneumatic fan as the working power. The principle of controlling dust of the new fan was analyzed, and the effectiveness of controlling dust was measured. The total wind amount, wind resistance and power of the new fan were calculated. The dedusting principle of the wet vibration fiber grille was analyzed, and the fan was denoised. The field test result indicates that the new fan has good controlling dust effect, can reduce the dust concentration of the working place effectively, so it is propitious to the worker´s body health, also can be applied to the dust treatment of various mines.
