Abstract
In the household appliance industry, noise control and production of high quality sound are important factors because that add value to the product and strengthen market competitiveness. Research in the field of numerical analysis has progressed, resulting in commercially available acoustic analysis software. As a result numerical acoustic analysis is now widely used in the household appliance industry. In this study, we focus on the acoustic analysis based on the boundary element method and cite examples of uncoupled analysis, structural-acoustic coupled analysis, and large-scale degree of freedom analysis and the other topics.
