Abstract :
The disposal of arsenic wastewater in the power plant was studied. The effect of pH, settling time, dosage and molar ratio on polysilicate metal sulfates for disposal of arsenic wastewater such as polysilicate aluminum sulfate (PSAS), polysilicate ferric sulfate (PSFS) and polysilicate ferric aluminum (PSFAS), were investigated as well. The species distribution were determined by Ferron-timed complex colorimetric method. The arsenic removal mechanisms of PSFAS were also discussed. Experimental results show that PSFAS has shorter settling time, lower residual color and high arsenic removal efficiency.
