Abstract :
Evaporation process is an important working procedure in alumina production. The production index of the evaporation system is alkaline solution concentration. Alkaline solution concentration can not be measured on-line in practical production for the present. Assay result directs the industrial product which leads to more steam consumption, easy scaling and recycling inefficiency for alkaline solution. In order to solve the periodicity and slow time-varying of evaporation process and few samples in initial stage, the paper searches similar samples in initial stage of the past period and develops soft sensor model by adding forgetting factor to moving window based on recursive partial least square. Simulation results show that the precision of the model is relative higher and can satisfy the needs of industrial production.
