Abstract :
This paper deals with presentation of some new aspects in study programme of Microelectronics Technology on Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technology in Brno University of Technology, which makes a part of new education system introduced in last years. This study program consists from three levels, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degree. There is effort to introduce PERT model, which helps for students to make easier and more efficient choice of subjects during his study period. Starting point for right and optimal choice of single subjects is general offer of all subjects, from which have to be selected a part covering necessary credit number. The final selection can be done more or less efficiently because there are a plenty of combinations. Only some of them assure good and effective results. In every case, the students need some help for arrangement of study program. For optimal choice of subject´s structure, PERT model can be used. In more to ensure optimal extent of the subjects is aimed at the collaboration with research and production sector in the competent environment area. The paper results a sum of both, theoretical and practical experience of author in the microelectronic technology area obtained during last twenty years in the education sector as well in research and management activities kept with some foreign companies after year 1989. This paper presents new Microelectronics Technology Education System at Brno University of Technology, where is significant emphasis on development in interconnection and packaging area. That is true a good part of students who passed this specialization at Brno University going ahead in the study or scientific works worldwide.
