Abstract
The main interest in the use of electric power for metal heating and melting is focused upon induction heating which presents some well-known advantages. Static power convertors have dominated in the power supply field for such equipment (0.15-10 kHz) because of their characteristics, power converters with current-fed inverters particularly being preferred. The paper treats a system of two such power converters operating in parallel. The results obtained in the analysis of some faulty runs are presented and conclusions referring to their change in time are also highlighted
