Abstract
The antenna system introduced is a hybrid between completely steerable primary reflectors and a fixed spherical primary. This concept uses a sphere which is rotated around a vertical axis only. Thus it is not subjected to variable gravitational orientation and can be supported by multiple wheels over its entire expanse.
