Abstract :
We introduce general design criteria and study the properties of cooperative multiple trellis coded modulation (MTCM) systems, in the context of the decode and forward protocol based on orthogonal transmissions from the cooperating terminals to the destination. We present simulation results illustrating the performance of the proposed cooperative MTCM codes.
