Abstract
Partners selection and evaluation is one of the most vital actions of companies in a product design chain. Moreover, decision support is an important part of cooperative design. Selecting the right partner is the assurance of cooperative design. In order to improve reliability and scientificalness, a method of partner evaluation based on BP neural network and PCA is presented. An evaluation index system of partner is built and ability evaluation model based on BP neural network is put up. The indexes are reduced by the method of PCA and the ability evaluation is analyzed by MATLAB. Base on these, a prototype system of partner evaluation is established, the results prove that the theory and technology is right and workable.
