Techniques of home network control using a mobile phone

This paper is written to show that a mobile phone is most suitable a terminal to control home network system considering accessibility and user convenience. There are methods like that SMS having advantages of communication costs and direct-reaction and Mobile internet having advantages of high level user interface and scalability. This paper presents SMS control technique based on the instant messenger. It is possible two-way communication to control home network system without additional terminals. Also this paper presents that mobile Internet controls home network system by Web. It is useful because superior service is possible through the portal site by Web 2.0 techniques sharing DB.
